Another lake day

Now that the heat wave has passed, I finally ventured out this pass weekend to our family reunion.  It was wonderful seeing all my family (far and near) but I missed a few that couldn't make it.  Being around my family always makes me happy...I'm such a Cancer =) by the way,

my birthday was last Monday (WHAT WHAT) and I had a blast spending it with my sons, family and friends.  As I get older, going out and partying doesn't faze me.  I had a great time indoors cooking and watching my boys play the Playstation and Wii.

 

I wore this outfit going out to lunch with my beau. Afterwards, we stopped by the park, ate ice cream and enjoyed the scenery.  I love being near the water...

 

but the damn humidity.. tore my little curls UP!! So I had to pin my hair up to continue my pics lol

Turn Down For What

I don't know about you guys but it's hotter than fish grease here in North Carolina. Chile...it makes you INSTANTLY irritated and pissed once you step outside. Mother Nature is in her feeling right now and me, my edges, & I are not here for her emotional rollercaster. Last week I was ready to build a damn arc from the floods of rain and now..*sigh*…Man listen...

A Beautiful Day

For the past week it has been raining like crazy and yesterday it was just too nice outside to pass up a beautiful day at the lake.

 I got this dress not too long ago from one of my favorite stores...ROSS!! It was only $11.99!! *I KNOW RIGHT*












Very comfortable dress, and I paired it with my Mossimo sandles from Tar-ja' Target... another favorite

My hairstyle is my version of the "messy milkmaid hair" minus the messy. Gotta control those edges in this heat baby! lol

This little girl was toooo cutee! You couldn't tell little momma she wasn't gonna catch her 'fish of the day'!
